C3 CREATIVE GROUP LAUNCHES BRAND EXTENSION CAMPAIGN FOR ‘REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MIAMI’ CELEBRITY LEA BLACK

Dynamic Coral Gables Agency Wins Addy Award For Her Promotion and Packaging Campaign

CORAL GABLES (April 2) – C3 Creative Group is launching a brand extension campaign for Lea Black, the celebrity star of “Real Housewives of Miami,” after winning an Addy Award for a promotion and packaging campaign for the Lea Black Beauty Collection of skincare products.

“Lea Black is now a celebrated name in fashion and beauty, and it is a privilege to be part of her marketing team,” said Gillian Davidson, president and creative director, C3 Creative Group in Coral Gables. “We were retained to develop Lea Black Beauty in keeping with our extensive luxury branding experience and  understanding of the value of multimedia brand development coupled with a powerful digital presence.”

Last year, Black launched her collection of clinically proven skincare products in collaboration with renowned beauty industry expert Melinda Wells-DeRocher.

Reflecting her success as a television celebrity, she recently broadened her product line with five brand extensions and e-commerce sites. “After debuting with the launch of Lea Black Handbags, this remarkable woman has introduced a new collection of Hollywood-inspired vintage handbags that reflect her timeless style,” said Davidson.

Black’s new fashion brand extensions include Vintage, which features a crystal encrusted front panel; Hollywood, with a heart shaped crystal and bead design; and Icebox, which is fully encrusted with crystal.  Vintage and Hollywood come in black, gold and silver diamonds and retail for $295, while Icebox is available in solid black and a silver/gold duo retailing for $345.

In March, C3 Creative Group was honored with the American Advertising Federation’s Addy Award for its “Promotion and Packaging Campaign” for Lea Black. “We designed everything for Lea Black Beauty’s signature products, as well as an ad campaign, promotional campaign, and a video at LeaBlackBeauty.com,” said Davidson.

An experienced marketing, advertising, public relations and design professional, Davidson has earned multiple Addy Awards in her career. She also received the “Latino Marketing Award” for a national retail campaign and an “Outstanding Achievement Award” from the American Marketing Association.
